Christmas holidays are very quickly approaching now! Just a few short weeks to go, so here’s what you need to know about the various closing times this year.
We’ll be closing the doors for a well-earned rest at 5pm on Wednesday 21st December (before heading out to our staff xmas party!), and coming back nicely refreshed at 9am on Monday 9th January.
Our partners at Macquarie Group Services will be closing at around the same time and so if you were looking to setup a new company, trust or SMSF to begin trading in the new year, we’d recommend moving quickly on that one.
And finally, the tax office will be shutting down all of their systems at 3pm on Friday 23rd December and won’t be back online until 3rd January. We’ve been told that anything lodged after that 3pm deadline won’t see assessments (ie, refunds!) issued until at least 16th January.
