We’re also a big fan of Project Eight, who don’t yet have deductibility status but are no less a good cause. Also without deductibility are most schools and churches, however many will have a separate building fund which may accept tax-deductible donations.
The way that I see it, one of the real benefits to having some sort of wealth is the ability to help those who don’t. After all, it’s much easier to help those in need when you’re not in such need yourself, hey?
